I'M STILL KNITTING IN 41C HUMIDEX TEMPS!
And, no sooner had I Finished ONE HAT, I had ANOTHER on THE STICKS!
At "FIRST SIGHT", These TWO COLOUR-COMBOS appear to be a rather *unlikely* "MATCH-UP"...
HOWEVER, once ENTWINED... THEY actually don't Look so badly!
IT reminds Me of a Piece of MULTI-LAYERED-PAINTED WOOD that has been WEATHERED and SANDED away...

What a delicious combination of colours! It reminds me of the bark of some eucalypts or Plane Trees.
ReplyDelete41c? Yuck! That's hideous temperatures. Sounds like you get more extreme than where I used to live in Canberra. Minuses in winter, over 40 in summer. But it only gets cold enough to snow once every 5 years (this year being one of them!)
Hope you and yours are out of the heat and keeping comfortable. Xox
Great colours, I'm impressed you can knit in that heat!!
ReplyDeleteI love your mixed colour combo. I think they go as all the colours are quite gentle.
ReplyDeleteI too love experimenting with yarn colours , yours are looking great !
ReplyDeleteLove the colour mix, reminds me of Autumn which let's face it is not far away. I find that variegated wools are so interesting when knitted up and give such depth to a garment.
ReplyDeleteThose colours are lovely together - who would have thought (apart from you of course!) Can't let a little bit of warmth stop you crafting (says me in the Uk where the temperature has plummeted and sadly it seems our short summer is over!)
ReplyDeleteI love mixing colours and I'm sure yours look fabulous together
