• A "FISH".
• Is USEFUL as well as Decorative.
• The HOT-"BEACHY"-Weather has waned This Week, I needed a "SOUVENIR"!

I had the COSTCO "MILK-RUN" to do. And, to Pick-up some Stuff that I had FORGOTTEN to the Other Day... Otherwise, I kept My EXCURSIONS on the Shorter-Side...

A "GOOD THING", as I got HOME *just* IN Time to "spot" FATHER's "LUMBERJACK" *ACTIVITIES*!! - [This is the PART where MOTHER was NOT Amused with Him being on a Ladder..?]

Anyhoo... A Fair-Sized LIMB is now MISSING from the JUNIPER-TREE and, no longer Leaning against the Roof. -- And, THANKFULLY, *didn't* cause any DAMAGE on the Way DOWN!

Although, I SUSPECT that a Number of the LOCAL-FAUNA will be a tad Peeved!?!

hmm... I was just Thinking... I'm probably going to get MORE SNOW-DRIFTING on the WALKWAY now..? -- crap!

WE'VE BEEN *WAITING* FOR THE RAIN! - If only, to Melt-off the HUMIDITY! Luckily, the SKIES were SEMI-Overcast and far LESS *SCORCHING* than Yesterday!

Another *LATE* Start... However, *most* of the Day's YARD-"SALE"-ing was in OUR Neighbourhood! And, the NEXT One over to the WEST. -- Although, We did pop over to BEACON HILL for a Quickie-LOOKSEE afterward.

Anyhoo... My BEST "CATCH"-of-the-Day was THIS 18x24-inch PAINTING for $5. by "P. DYBLE"..?

-- BTW, I absolutely HATE the FRAME! That will definitely get *tossed*! - Unless of course, I find Time - *some* Day - to "Creatively" RE-do IT..? I've yet to really Check-Out ITS "Quality" and Condition.



Meanwhile, in Keeping with Today's apparent Purchasing-"THEME", I also picked up THESE TWO CERAMIC FISH DISHES...

The FIRST, 11-Inches, Made in ITALY -- for 50-Cents... I Found ITS SIMPLISTIC-"Construction" to be INTRIGUING.

As I did the GLAZING on THIS ONE-DOLLAR 16-Inch DISH...

*ONE* of these Days, I'm probably going to HAVE TO *LEARN* "HOW" to Properly COOK *WHOLE*-FISH!! -- I certainly have ENOUGH "SERVING"-WARE for a FISH-FRY!!

oh. And, I also got a Bunch of THESE 9-Inch TIN BOXES for 25-Cents Each... FOUR BLACK Ones and THREE in BROWN. -- Now, I just have to Decide on *what* STUFF to put IN Them!

Later on, GROCERY-GETTING was had. Along, with a Visit to MICHAEL'S... It's been a Few Weeks since MOTHER has been There. And, I was *hoping* that the NEW YARN-"TURN-OVER" Shipments would be *IN*..? -- NO Luck... Perhaps by TUESDAY..?? - I'm *eager* to get a "PRE-View"!

RAIN-CLOUDS were gathering CLOSE-by when We *eventually* GOT HOME... About 20-Minutes AFTER I unloaded THE CAR, the HUMIDITY-*SLICING*-DOWNPOUR finally Happened!! - Accented, with a just a touch of THUNDER...

For $2. MOTHER picked up a BRAND-NEW Pair of LARGE HEDGE-SHEARS! Whilst I, settled on THIS 9cm PEWTER "BUSINESS CARD"-HOLDER for a DOLLAR...

MEANWHILE, the SALE-OWNER, MR.-"STORAGE-WARS"-WANNABE also had a PILE of
"COSTUME"-JEWELRY on a Table that was being *SWARMED* by MOTHER and Several-Other-WOMEN-with-BAD-Taste-in-*BLING*.

The "COLLECTION" was the Contents of a Couple of "ESTATE-SALE" BOXES He had acquired. -- 98% JUNK! -- However, MOTHER likes to check-out These Assortments for the ODD-Piece to use for SCRAPBOOKING.

As I stood on the Peripheral, I just happened to CAST My Discerning-Eye onto THIS Little PRIZE PIN! -- Got IT also, for a DOLLAR!

SO... Yesterday, when MOTHER and I brought over that Trunk-Load of STUFF to the GLOUCESTER EMERGENCY FOOD CUPBOARD  for Their Today's "YARD SALE",
a **VOID** was Created within "THE HOARD"! -- Therefore, as IS the Nature of THE UNIVERSE, the FOLLOWING ITEMS were *Sucked* INTO that EMPTY SPACE...

BTW, there was a *LOT* of STUFF!! So MUCH in Fact, that I've decided to Spread THEM over a Couple of POSTS.

FYI -- THIS is WHAT *Happens*, "when" I'm Forced to Get-UP *EARLY*! - Not to Mention, that We were OUT "THERE" for EIGHT-HOURS!! - With only a FEW Hours of SLEEP...

ANYHOO... THIS POST is devoted to My "G.E.F.C." Acquisitions ONLY. -- oh. And, I got "ALL of IT" -TOTAL, for UNDER $5.!!


When We ARRIVED, I headed Straight for the "ARTWORK" Area - [IT's a PICNIC TABLE, with Frames and Such propped up on the Benches...] - Moments before, I had spotted a GUY in the Parking Lot walking off with a LARGE PIECE. ITS "Front"-side UNseen!

I can only *WONDER* as to what GREAT WORKS I *MISSED* out on, EARLIER!

These TWO 8X10-INCH CANVASES were the ONLY "good" ORIGINAL-Pieces LEFT!

Despite, THEIR "Subject"-Matter NOT being on My FAV-LIST, *for* just a DOLLAR EACH, I *wasn't* going to PASS THEM up!

Besides, THEY are Nicely-done... Although, THEY could DO with some REFRAMING!

I *hate* the Framing on IT, though! -- IT deserves a much BETTER "FUTURE"...

In which case, I'm in Awe that IT's *SURVIVED*!
