I PROBABLY WOULD HAVE HAD IT FINISHED BY NOW!

That's the DOWN-side of "STITCHY-EXPERIMENTATION" - Wasting Time "doing", then taking APART, then "RE-doing"... Then *more* "UN-doing"!

For MOST of the Evening, I've been Toying with doing SOMEthing *different* with Yesterday's NEW PROJECT... Only to end up going through with the afore-mentioned Process on a 10-Row Panel about THREE Times!! -- so far... Or, has IT been FOUR..? Honestly, I've LOST Count!
-- Time to choose an alternate tack...

Meanwhile... The WEATHER did a Change-Up as well. - After DAYS of PERFECT-LONG-WEEKEND-SUNNY-SUMMERness, We *finally* got several Hours of - [dare I admit it?!] - much needed RAIN-SHOWERS! Although, I can't say that IT had any affect on the Humidity.

Anyhoo... Conditions had begun to Clear by the Afternoon, SO, of course, The ELDERLY-PARENTAL-UNITS just *had* to GO OUT! -- I suppose, I'll just have to RE-schedule MY Solo-Shopping-Sessions for Tomorrow..??

UNTIL *THEN*, I'm going to have ANOTHER go at The YARN...

APPEARS TO BE TODAY'S OVERALL "THEME"...

Despite the Fact that the WEATHER was SHINY and SCORCHING - [28C] - IT's *also* a
"HOLIDAY"-WEEKEND, so Anyone who owns a Cottage, is OUT-OF-TOWN! Which, in turn, means LESS YARD-SALES...

Of the FEW going on in BEACON HILL, only ONE was of ANY Worth! And, was Where I obtained MOST of Today's "TRINKETS"...

I Love THIS COVERED BOWL! ...About 7-Inches or so. Only a DOLLAR!

Then, there were the BLUE-WHITE PLATES for a DOLLAR Each as well..

THEY also had a Service of Blue-White Dishes, but I *don't* need a SET. Besides, THEY were
"Everyday"-Types.

Meanwhile, it's unfortunate that I don't Own a Truck, or have the "ROOM", OR had BEEN There EARLIER, as Someone ELSE had Bought the rather Good-Condition-OLD-Wide-Board-Wooden-BENCH!!

Anyway, We CHATTED for a while... Had *much* Conversation with the ENGAGING-4-YEAR-OLD-BOY-FROM-ACROSS-THE-STREET and His quite Large-8-Month-Old-BOXER-"MILO"...

A Brief-Stop at The SALLY-ANN was had... MOTHER found THIS PACK of KNITTING NEEDLES for Me - 99-Cents.




Off to FABRICLAND next for a "Looksee"... Found THESE TWO 100%-COTTON REMNANTS - BOTH are Less than a Meter.

Actually, I *almost* Bought THAT PLAID ONE during My Last Visit to the STORE... I Guess IT *really* wanted to Come-HOME with Me!?

Then, as I toured about the STORE, I was just giving the OVER-Priced
"Home-Decor" Section a quickie-peruse *WHEN*... THERE, in-a-tray-on-the-bottom-shelf-in-the-corner-behind-some-not-so-cheap-useless-stuff, THIS!!


Oooo! - AND, "HALF-Price" with a
"MEMBERSHIP"-Card - which, MOTHER HAS! -- huh. Who knew that I could Find ONE "Here"??!!



Afterward, some more "Local"-Shopping... THE MALL... And, HOME!! -- The CAR wanted to be *back* in ITS nice COOL Garage!

Actually, other than IT being FATHER's Older SISTER's Birthday, and the Weather still being GREAT, My ENTIRE Day has been **DEVOTED** to FIDDLING with My COMPUTER!! -- I've LOST Count of how MANY Times I've been Subjected to "THE BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH", Today!!

So far, I "think" I've *narrowed* down the "Trigger"... And, *perhaps* a Thought on a Solution..?
-- But, DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH on *THAT*! A CALL to some OFF-WORLD TECH-SUPPORT is Likely in the Offing!!

IT's **FIXED**!! WOOHOO!!

okay..so... I'm really NOT sure *WHAT* "RIGHT"-Little-Protocol-Box I TICKED-OFF - [ask Me IF I care!] - BUT, IT WORKED!! The Needed-UPDATES got through. The COMPUTER *didn't* have another Stroke! -- EVERYTHING "seems" to be O-KAY! ...for NOW...

AND, A LONG WEEKEND COMING UP, TOO... Remind Me, to STAY-**IN**-THE-"BURBS"!!

So. As it happens, I had to spend This Lovely Day on a JOURNEY-to-the-CENTER-of-DOWNTOWN's-Touristy-HUSTLE-and-BUSTLE... IT's TULIP FESTIVAL MONTH Here in OTTAWA, so LOTS of VISITORS-Many-From-AFAR running about.

Going UP into TOWN for an Appointment - via BUSES - wasn't so cumbersome, however, the
"Return"-TRAFFIC past PARLIAMENT HILL was rather GLACIAL in ITS movement... I *probably* could have WALKED the Distance to the RIDEAU CENTRE in LESS Time!

Once There, I made a leisurely perusal of OLD NAVY... I have all of these 15%-DISCOUNT-COUPONS to USE! - I just ended up Purchasing a NAVY LINEN SHIRT - [a CLASSIC Colour and Fabric!].

Next, a Stop at THE GAP... ah. 30%-OFF... TWO "ON-SALE" Dark ROSE-Coloured T-SHIRTS and, *another* TURQUOISE SWEATER.

Alas, I finally made it THROUGH the MALL to grab a BUS Homeward to THE MALL. Where, I DID the "usual" Rounds... I would have taken the Local-BUS HOME, but, considering the
"Schedule", WALKING was the Quicker-Way to go! -- And, of course, "Healthier"-yadda-yadda...

Just, don't mind Me, WHEN I "decide" to SLEEP-IN-LATE, Tomorrow! -- I see *much* VEGGING ahead!
