YES. IT was the VALUE-VILLAGE 50%-OFF-SALE-DAY once again...
*EXCEPT*, on the "HOUSE-HOLD"-ITEMS - which, are usually the THINGS that I peruse through! -- Then again, "PICKINGS" were somewhat pathetic Today, so IT's a moot point.
Anyhoo... We went over just after the Lunch-Hour, AND the 20-Minute Heavy-SHOWER.
I Dropped MOTHER off at The Door, and then, went "shopping" for a SPOT... There were Several Spaces to be had. The *hardest* part was getting around the EARLIER-DOUBLE-PARKED-PEOPLE!
The TOP of Her Snowy-Haired-HEAD can just barely be seen *above* the ROWS of CLOTHING-RACKS! -- I headed to the Rear of the Store, where the FEW bits of YARN and Such, are Kept...
Only 5-Minutes IN, and She's already Found These KNITTING-NEEDLES for Me! -- THEY later came to 57-Cents for The SET.
We moved on to the CLOTHING... For the NEXT TWO-HOURS!!
-- okay. maybe not THAT long... but, close ENOUGH!
She got a Few Pieces, and I settled on ONE SWEATER. -- A TOP that I had Found LAST WEEK, was NO longer there... nuts!
We managed to Return HOME before the NEXT SHOWER...
BTW, "Speaking" of THE WEATHER...
BABY-BRO & THE GANG **FINALLY** arrived SAFELY to Their DESTINATION after 24-HOURS of *DELAYS*, to overhead RAININESS and SEVERE-THUNDER-STORM-*TORNADO*-WARNINGS!!
I wonder IF, THEY're having "FUN", **YET**..??
