right. so... MICHAEL'S *didn't* have ANY of That YARN I Wanted. Although, a Couple of the OTHER STORES had Some IN-STOCK... I just have to Call THEM up to See IF THEY have the *NEEDED* DYELOT!

Needless to Say, with MONDAY being a HOLIDAY, that *only* leaves Tomorrow as the ONLY Day LEFT to take Advantage of the WeekEND-SALES... And, "Reduced"-SCHEDULING on the BUSES does NOT *HELP*!

Anyhoo, We must have Spent an HOUR at MICHAEL'S - *mostly* due to MOTHER's *NEED* to Look at EVERYTHING!! -- ALL I got, were THESE "FELTED" 3-PACK ORNAMENTS that I happened upon in the "CHRISTMAS"-AISLE...

I got Another Set of the TREES, and, Several of the REINDEER - I Now have a HERD!

THEY were Tucked UNDER a Short-Shelf... HIDING! -- I just Thought that THEY were *CUTE*, and that I should GET THEM before ANYONE *ELSE* "Discovers"THEM - Besides, I had all of these COUPONS... Which, I also Used to get a BALL of GREY ROVING YARN... I *had* to Buy SOMETHING after watching MOTHER *Load-UP* on some ON-SALE DOLLAR-BALLS of FUZZY YARNS...

We *eventually* popped into the Nearby Grocers, but came away with just some JUICE...

Time to head over to LOBLAW's for ITS "NO TAXES". And, "Where" I was almost *Blinded* by that **SHINY** LOONIE!!

BTW, "WHY" is it that there's NEVER a *LOT* of STUFF to GET on THOSE Days...??

MEANWHILE, I also got around to "CASHING-IN" My STORE-POINTS for GIFT CARDS at FUTURE SHOP... There are some DVDs being Released soon that I wanted to GET! - I'll be needing NEW-STUFF-TO-WATCH as I KNIT & CROCHET in the Coming MONTHS...

It's been *some* Time since I've Purchased THAT-COLOUR, so Chances of Me actually "having" ONE to correspond are going to be considerably SLIM! -- BUT, I'll go DIGGING into *MY* "THE ROOM", *anyway*!

Besides, I still have to come up with TWO-BALLS of the LIGHTER GREY that I had wanted to Use... -- There had only been ONE of *that* HUE "LEFT" at the Store!

After My trip to COSTCO Today, I made a rare Stop over to the HOMESENSE Store, that's just across the "HIGHWAY"... I wanted to See if THEY had gotten in any New RHINOS..? -- THEY hadn't. And, I never *did* Buy ANYthing There, either.. HOWEVER...

I ran into TWO-Older-Than-Me-WOMEN, Who were Trying to "Match" THROW-PILLOWS with this rather Aesthetic-ABSTRACT-SEASCAPE-PAINTING for the OLDER-WOMAN's GUEST-ROOM... And, of course, *ME*-the-Ever-Crazy-"ART"-aholic, I just couldn't Resist putting in My "nosy" Two-Cents worth!

About 6-Minutes LATER, THEY had THREE PILLOWS that not only *COLOUR*-Coordinated the ARTWORK, but "TEXTURALLY" as well. - Along with the ROOM's OTHER Design-Elements!

You know, I never did Look at the PRICE-TAGS on those PILLOWS... Then again, *neither* did THEY! -- HOPE They weren't TOO PRICEY..?! - Anyway, I caught the PAINTING's COST though... About THREE-TIMES the *TOTAL* of My ENTIRE Little "THRIFTY"-COLLECTION!

Anyhoo, BEFORE We had wandered on over to that ESTATE-SALE Yesterday, We made a QUICKIE-STOP over to The SALLY-ANN. -- I wanted to CHECK-OUT the AUCTION LISTING. Several NEW-ITEMS had arrived Last Week, but I *couldn't* get a GOOD-Look at THEM, *Then*! - We weren't going to the AUCTION, however, I did want to SEE "WHAT"
I would have "Missed"!

AS IN, a FEW rather NICE "NAUTICAL" PAINTINGS! - Though, still a tad too Pricey...
-- We MOVED ON...

AFTER the ESTATE-SALE - and, on the WAY to TRAINYARDS - We stopped-by for a Short-Bit at Our FRIEND, BOB-THE-BUYER and His FAMILY at Their semi-Monthly CURBSIDE-SALE.

BOB buys and sells LOTS of ANTIQUE & ESTATE "TRINKETS" & CURIOS...

I'm thinking that He was likely a PAWN-BROKER in a "PREVIOUS"-LIFE

-- As I, was likely a CURATOR in at least TWO!!

He also, Posts TERRIFIC SALE-"SIGNS"!! -- NEON-GREEN, *Every* BLOCK - stating how Many Blocks "to go" in CLEAR READABLE-While-You-Drive-By-SCRIPT!

ANYWAY... He had a Few PAINTINGS that Caught My EYE... However, I just settled on the "ABOVE" 8x10-Inch ONE for $5. -- [Which I Suspect, might have been BELOW His *COSTS*?!]

He really Likes Us, and is always Offering Us STUFF *AT-"COST"*!
- A "Courtesy" that I try *not* to "abuse"...





So. I couldn't Find a "Date" on the PIECE, but from the Condition of the FRAMING and CANVAS-BACKING,
I think *over* 30-Years would be a "SAFE-BET"..?

Like, *finally* getting around to "Cashing-IN" My HBC-Points! -- Needless to say, I did a bit of "SHOPPING" LATER... BUT, *NOT* to Worry! - I *still* have MONEY "Left" on that HUDSON'S BAY COMPANY *GIFT CARD*!!

As We were heading to a CHECKOUT-COUNTER, We passed a "DISCOUNT-TABLE" of DISHWARE...

These TWO 4-INCH HEART-DISHES were just sitting there... Looking LONELY... I checked the STICKER. The PRICE was "Right". AND, THEY *were* from PORTUGAL... I really DIDN'T "NEED" THEM!

I walked away about 20-Feet... oh! what-the-hell! -- I SPUN *around* BACK and Snatched THEM UP! - After all, it was *just* the TWO of THEM... About to end up being for "FREE"!

-- HOW could I, Say "NO"?!

NEXT... We headed to a *Certain* ART-"SHOPPE", that shall remain Nameless! AS, Their "SALES"-PRICES really AREN'T *so* much!!

Their YARN was "20%-OFF"... Which, was still about 4% *ABOVE* MICHAEL'S -

Honestly, other than the FANTASTIC-STAFF and YARN-INVENTORY,
