Because, MOTHER-Who's-Addicted-to-Buying-Sewing-Machine-Cabinets-and-HOW-Many-Knitting-Machines? wouldn't let Me BUY - for ONLY $10.! - the small, great-looking, well-made, I-think-IT-might-have-been-WALNUT, ARTS&CRAFT-Stylish Early MID-CENTURY-MODERN COFFEE TABLE!! ...ggrrrr...

Anyway... WHAT I *did* GET...

A SET of 6 lovely LINEN NAPKINS for a Dollar. One can NEVER have *enough* LINEN! -- MOTHER picked up a large Selection of BUTTONS at that Location, which I've yet to have a *good* look at.

The Remainder of the ABOVE ITEMS were obtained at The SALLY ANN. Apparently, there was some 10% OFF SALE going on that I didn't know about until I was AT The Cash!?

Whatever... The GREEN BOWL is the "COLONY" Pattern from HAZELWARE, which is My Primary FAV Glass Collecting one! The AMETHYST Shade is My Number ONE Hue of Choice - Although, for the *Right* Price, I usually get the Other Colours as well. I love the Clean Simplicity of the Bevelled-Base that allows This Pattern to be matched up with just about Everything!

And, the SHELL DISH is just *another* Addition to My "Nautical" Trove! I think I might actually have a Couple more just like IT... As to the Two SMOKE-GLASS "HOLDERS"..? I'm not exactly sure WHAT They are... But, I'm going to go with EGG CUPS. The Size and Inside-Curvature works with that Theory... Or, I suppose I could always use Them for Condiments..? -- I just really liked the Triangular Shape!

Meanwhile, OUTSIDE The Store, THEY were selling STUFF by THE BAG for So-Much-Money to raise Funds for Their CHILDREN'S SUMMER CAMP Programme. For $5. I got 6 big HARDCOVER BOOKS.

WOOHOO!! -- Who'd have Thunk, huh? THAT *many* DAYS - STRAIGHT!

AND, I was SOOO *Excited* about it ALL, that I *literally* PASSED OUT! -- Then again, it could have been because I "managed" to WIN $32. on The LOTTERY Last Night, OR that Today was the THIRD-SUNNY-DAY-IN-A-ROW!!

..yeah.. So... "Funny" Thing *happened* whilst I was having a little Bloodwork done Earlier...

MOTHER needed to have Hers done as well - however, Last Evening She tells Me that She wasn't up to doing it for Today. Which meant, that I would be just getting Mine done. Alone. But... THIS Morning, She changes Her Mind as She hasn't had anything to EAT in the last 11-plus Hours.

...Change of Plans... And, seeing as I was concerned about *Her*, I made the error of *rushing* through My "Morning Routine" of getting through MY "Fasting".

Anyway, We get There with no problems, except for the 10-Minute or more WAIT. We go to Our respective side-by-side Cubicles. I inform My very friendly & sweet "Vampiress" that I CLOT very quickly... "..No, kidding.." - I am not bleeding at "normal" speed at all!

Not "good"...

Vial #2 will have to come out of My Other Arm... HOWEVER... JUST before She jabs Me, I begin to feel Faint... I take some of My Water...

FYI - I'm no Stranger to Passing Out and Waking Up from said "Experiences" in rather Unique Locales... Have YET to Top the In-Front-Of-The-SHARK-PIT when I was 12! But This Time, was a tad weird... Probably, because I *still* IN the Chair, and NOT anywhere HORIZONTAL.
- Which is *likely* WHY - as MOTHER much Later informed Me - I was "shaking"... [duh.. Hello!
"Shock"! Not Oxygenating..]

Once, slightly more "cognizant", I insisted that I needed to LIE DOWN! -- I was walked over to a Little Room... And, figured out *WHAT* was "The Cause" - GAS!

...yeah.. I know... WAAY too much INFO.. But seriously, That's what it was - putting Pressure on the wrong Nerves and My Lungs. Toss in the Asthma, the Allergy Season, the going on 14-Hours of Fasting, and a few "other" Little-Things-Going-On-In-My-What-I-DON'T-Put-The-BLOOG-Life...

The SLOW Blood Flow SHOULD have been the First CLUE!

And then, the Half-Liter of "water" that I "hurled" after sitting up and telling MOTHER that I *needed* a BUCKET -- NOW! -- Yep. Definitely, GAS. -- BTW, I was a Good Girl... I *MISSED* the Expensive Diagnostic Equipment, the Bed, ME, and MOTHER, who had just exited.

Anyhoo... after a Half-Hour of trying to munch on a few Snacks, a bit of "Washroom" Time, We headed for The CAR. The Fresh Air did Me some good. A few Minutes more, and I was *well* enough to Drive the Short Distance Home!

A couple of Hours of BED-REST and I'm now BACK to My Old Self! Just BLOOGING About...

The LESSONS LEARNT - Next Time, before Going, I *relax* and wear a "looser" *Sports* BRA!

So, Nothing *exciting* happening There. Only saw a FEW TULIPS out. -- The Annual CANADIAN TULIP FESTIVAL is currently on for the Rest of the Month - [MAY 6 - 23] - IT's one of the BIG "TOURISTY" EVENTS around OTTAWA. However, with ALL of the RAIN... MOST of the Flowers are YET to BLOOM!

After My Appointment, I headed for The RIDEAU CENTRE. Just did a short buzz through. Picked up a Few CLEARANCE SALE Tops at OLD NAVY... Like I *need* more Clothes. Not! -- But, what the hey, the Price *was* Right! And, SOLID COLOURS - They'll go with Anything!

Back on the BUS to THE MALL. Another quickie Run-Through There, and then I walked Home... Needed the Exercise. And, it *was* Nice OUT! -- I'll be FEELING it, Tomorrow!

Ah, *another* Addition to My "WHITE" FISH "SCHOOL"... Besides, *only* Costing 25-Cents, I really didn't have a Piece like THIS. IT'll go quite well with My OTHER Aquatic Dishware!

I rarely pass up on adding to My BLUE & WHITE POTTERY Collection. THIS is about 8-Inches.

I love THIS great little 5.5"x7" FRAME. Another "Quarter" FIND!

I believe that THIS [ABOVE], is a CANDLE HOLDER... All Light-Weight METAL, and FREE!

BTW, I'm also *NOT* a big Fan of CANDLE "USE", either.

Well... except for that odd Table Arrangement. Set into a SECURE "Holder".
