oh, well... I suppose I've Saved Myself from *certain* BLINDNESS for a bit Longer, so that "SOMEDAY", I might to able to DO "Something" with the Piece of COTTON FABRIC that I *did* BUY...

The CLOTH is somewhat "THIN"-nish... BUT, might hold-up IF IT were "CROSS-STITCH"-*QUILTED* to some THICKER "Backing"..? -- IT would be a rather Interesting, if not, TIME-CONSUMING "ENDEAVOUR"! -- *SOME*-Day...

WHEW!! -- **FELTING** might have OCCURRED had I been CAUGHT in IT!

The New "MARTHA-STEWART-CRAFTS"-ROVING was ON SALE at MICHAEL'S... I only got a FEW, as the BALLS are somewhat *small*! - However, I Liked THESE SHADES... Some of the Other COLOURS were similar to Her "MERINO", so I didn't bother to get Them.

Actually, IF I Remember Correctly, I think there were some LAVENDER Balls Last Week..?? - If so, They are ALL GONE! -- pooh!

ANYHOO... *Another* SCORCHY-DAY! - Although, there was a BREEZE and the HUMIDITY wasn't as bad at Times as IT has been... sorta...

Had the ODD Errand to DO. Some GROCERIES... AND, **FORGOT** to Pick-Up SOMETHING *IMPORTANT*!! - crap...

Of course, IF I *had*, THEN I *would* have gotten "DROWNED"!! -- okay. so. Perhaps the "Memory-LOSS" was a GOOD THING..?!

Anyway, My Bed is in a Semi-Basement Corner. The HOUSE has STEEL-Framing and We're on BEDROCK. Not to mention, NONE of My surrounding TOWERS-OF-PILED-*STUFF* moved either! - So. NO Probs!

HOWEVER though, MOTHER *did* FEEL IT and was just a tad Freaked over IT...

As to the Could-DO-with-Some-Paint-EXPANDING-RACK-that's-*Only*-Missing-a-"Hanging"-HOOK, I actually ended up getting IT for **FREE**!! - [psst! Don't tell MANAGER-DAVE!]

NEWER-CASHIER-GIRL had Entered a Wrong Amount - [as in over $40,000!!] - Corrected IT. Then, FORGOT to Enter the PRICE!

-- Granted, I was probably "Distracting" Her with My COUPONS..?

LATER, I headed over to VALUE-VILLAGE and Found This SET of THREE CHROME-WIRE-PAPER-TRAYS and a Never-Used CROSS-STITCH CANVAS. -- $1.99-EACH minus the TUESDAY-20%-OFF-"SENIORS'-DISCOUNT! - That I manage to Get *without* being the "Required"-AGE!

On SECOND THOUGHT, I'm not sure IF whether THAT's a "GOOD THING"..??!! -- Then again, to the CUTE-PERKY-Somewhat-MATH-CHALLENGED-*YOUNG*-CASHIER, I'm sure that *ANYONE*-Over-40 probably *fit* the Criteria!!

"TIME-RELEASE-WATERING-BALLS" - a.k.a. "HAIL"!! ...In the *GOLF-BALL* SIZE!

No Lie. I don't EVER Remember seeing THEM *THAT* BIG!! -- Soooo Glad that We have a GARAGE! - A couple of Times, I thought for sure that one of those BABY-"BOUNCING-BETTY"S would *CRACK* a Window on the Rebound!

Sorry about the "Fuzziness". LOW-Lighting. Shooting through Raining-On-Glass. -- You can see how CRAPPY the Lawn looks! The "Green"-Stuff on the Top-Half of the Photo are the Drought-Resistant-WEEDS!! Those WHITE "Pebbles" are the HAILSTONES!

The CRYO-CONFETTI Storm was the FIRST ONE to come through around 3:30-ish... Afterward, IT was just the odd SMALLER-CELL every Half-Hour or so. A rumble HERE. A RUMBLE there. A Sprinkle here. A DOWNPOUR there.

MOST of IT was done by 6:00... Then, one Last BIG "Loud" ONE later in the Evening. Who knows *what* DEBRIS will be out There in the Morning... Even AFTER what FATHER had Cleared-up Earlier. - A *LOT* of LEAFY-BITS were about! And, Rumour has it, that One of the Neighbours *lost* a TREE..??

Personally, I'm kinda Curious about how many of THEM have DENTED Vehicles!?

Oh, well... At least IT *WASN'T* GARBAGE-PICK-UP-DAY!! -- That's *TOMORROW*!!

So. As it happens, I had to spend This Lovely Day on a JOURNEY-to-the-CENTER-of-DOWNTOWN's-Touristy-HUSTLE-and-BUSTLE... IT's TULIP FESTIVAL MONTH Here in OTTAWA, so LOTS of VISITORS-Many-From-AFAR running about.

Going UP into TOWN for an Appointment - via BUSES - wasn't so cumbersome, however, the
"Return"-TRAFFIC past PARLIAMENT HILL was rather GLACIAL in ITS movement... I *probably* could have WALKED the Distance to the RIDEAU CENTRE in LESS Time!

Once There, I made a leisurely perusal of OLD NAVY... I have all of these 15%-DISCOUNT-COUPONS to USE! - I just ended up Purchasing a NAVY LINEN SHIRT - [a CLASSIC Colour and Fabric!].

Next, a Stop at THE GAP... ah. 30%-OFF... TWO "ON-SALE" Dark ROSE-Coloured T-SHIRTS and, *another* TURQUOISE SWEATER.

Alas, I finally made it THROUGH the MALL to grab a BUS Homeward to THE MALL. Where, I DID the "usual" Rounds... I would have taken the Local-BUS HOME, but, considering the
"Schedule", WALKING was the Quicker-Way to go! -- And, of course, "Healthier"-yadda-yadda...

Just, don't mind Me, WHEN I "decide" to SLEEP-IN-LATE, Tomorrow! -- I see *much* VEGGING ahead!

I really wasn't Feeling all THAT "Enthused" about having to Take a BUS There - on a SATURDAY - with MOTHER in-tow, and THEN, have to BATTLE Our way through the PRESSING-HORDE-of Overly-Perfumed-Blinged-Out-LEMONed-20-SOMETHINGS bent on Achieving Whatever-"TREND"-of-the-Week-FASHIONISTA-NIRVANA!

Besides, for the Admission-Price, the FREEBIE-Stuff just AIN'T What IT Used to BE!

Anyhoo, AS IT turned out, *HAD* We Gone, I would have MISSED OUT on a *much* more Beneficial "HOARD"!! -- Is "56-Years" the "YARN-Anniversary"..?
