I Ordered THEM *LAST* TUESDAY!!

I'm still only HALF-WAY through THEM... Anyhoo, VERY *ENTERTAINING*! -- My Knowledge of "The WAR of the ROSES" has until Tonight, been *somewhat* Lacking..? - Although, some of the "HER-story" in THIS SERIES is more than likely *FICTION*, I do, however, "understand" IT ALL much better Now! -- That CHART *really* DID Help!

I only managed to get THREE WASHCLOTHS finished as I was TOO busy "WATCHING" My PURCHASES!

ANYHOO, seeing as I DIDN'T *have to* go OUT Today, I did a Marathon *PUSH* of Finishing THIS off as I RE-watched My DVDs of "WORLD WITHOUT END"... A Great MINI-SERIES-SEQUEL to "The PILLARS of the EARTH"!

Seriously, IT's a WONDER that *ANY* of Our ANCESTORS managed to SURVIVE back Then! - OR, that I *finally* got THIS DONE!!

However, the Hour is LATE. And, I *must* GET to BED!! -- So, MORE Pics Tomorrow and a "NAME"!

ARMED WITH MANY A MICHAEL'S COUPON, I took a *deep* COOL Breath and ventured into the Afternoon HEAT...

FIRST STOP - COSTCO, for the "usual" Supply of MILK, PAPER TOWELS, TOILET PAPER... Oooo! CHECK OUT the *LOW* PRICE on the "MAGNUM, P.I." DVDs!! -- *Under* $9. per Season! -- hmm... I should get Some. Used to be One of My FAV TV Shows!

Only Seasons 5 to 8 were Available. -- crap! Season 1 to 4 were *probably* there BEFORE and I *didn't* Notice!?! pooh!

NEXT - TRAINYARDS... And, MICHAEL'S with a Fistful of COUPONS that were for Yesterday until Tomorrow! I got to Use TWO. Chances are, I might be Returning with MOTHER, Tomorrow...

Anyhoo... WHILE I was There - [trying to decide on WHICH Colours of "CLASSIC WOOL" to get] - I came across a Bunch of Carts filled with "Coming" and "Going" BALLS of Yarn... ATOP One of Them, I "Discovered" THREE BALLS of "The ABOVE" RED HEART YARN!!

-- That had CLEARANCE Price-Stickers... Which, would "suggest", that IT's been around..?
-- I "MISSED" IT??!! -- NO. WAY!

Whatever. I *snatched* THEM UP! -- I'm going to have to Keep an EYE-OUT on those CARTS...

After spending way TOO much Time lusting over YARN, I made a quickie Trip on over to WALMART. Nothing jumping INTO My Cart There...

wait... oh. my... IS that..? frak! it IS! -- an old *BOYFRIEND*!! -- and, despite being over a *decade* my junior, after 8-plus years since I've seen him, he sure *doesn't* LOOK it! -- well. certainly glad that THAT "relationship" didn't work out! huh?

MOVING ON... HOME... I ended My *HOT* Day with an Hour of Mini-Fridge ICE-CHIPPING-DEFROSTING! -- Quite *REFRESHING*!!

o-kay. fine. IT was "91"! Although, after ALL of the Manual-Keying that *poor* ANDREA had to do, there might as well HAD been 600!!

MOTHER just kept finding these BOXES full of Once-Pricey-SHEETS... That, the Coding for the SENIORS'-DISCOUNT had to be Keyed-In-for-EVERYone! -- Whether IT was *Worth* the Time to do so, or not, is Debatable.

Whatever... I am just *not* a "SCRAPY-PERSON"! - So, enough with The PAPERS! -- On to IMPORTANT-USEFUL-STUFF, like YARN!!

WE GOT "LUCKY"... sorta...

Despite there being Several Inches, Today's Cryo-Accumulation was NOT as *much* as I had Expected. Most of the SNOW was actually being Blown off of the Roof! -- Which, ought to be rather Helpful, Later...

So, it was into the Blistery-Blowing-Weather, that I set Forth onto My Journeys to DOWNTOWN...

I am soooo Glad that I had Chosen to Wear My "Shoveling"-RAINBOOTS, instead of My usual Short-BOOTS! The DOWNTOWN Street-Corners were SWAMPED by DIRTY-Sandy-Slushie-PUDDLES! YUCK!! -- I hate to Admit "This", but that *Crap* ALMOST makes Our "Local" EVIL-SNOWPLOW-POOP look PRISTINE!!

Anyway, for once, I managed to Arrive at My Appointment a Half-Hour EARLY! So, of course,
"THEY" were Running 20-Minutes Late! -- Had I known, I would have Spent that Time at KNIT-KNACKERS - THEN - rather than AFTERward...

Where, I *took* My Time, seeing as IT will likely be My LAST TIME There! - [SEE 19FEB2012 POST]
I made-up for IT by Spenting WAAY too *much* Money!! ...AFTER, a Sweet-Little-OLD-European-Accented-LADY Customer had Graciously-Admired My "SHAN-TOQUE"! - [SEE 25AUG2012 POST]

THIS is just a SAMPLE of My LAST Acquisitions... There were TWO more BALLS of that BLOOD-RED on The LEFT. And, NINE more of the NAVY on The TOP - THOSE are a MERINO-SILK-CASHMERE Mix! Not to mention, NOT "Cheap"! -- BUT, I just *couldn't* RESIST!

The Hardest Part was Choosing the NAVY over a DARK CHOCOLATE Shade! ..I think THEY had some LIGHT GREEN, too..?

The "Hour" was getting on, so I had to Move-On... The RIDEAU CENTRE was along My Path Homeward... I made a Brief-NO-Purchase-Peruse of OLD NAVY, then a "Walk-In" at HMV - Where a surprisingly *Fortuitous* moment occurred!

Next Week, the "Season-1" DVDs of "GAME OF THRONES" come OUT... I *don't* have the CABLE-STATION that Aired IT, so I have YET to SEE IT!  And, since I'm a Big "FAN"
of JASON MOMOA, Who also *happens* to be IN IT, I have "Plans" on making a Purchase.

So, when I inquired about IT's probable-Price, the Very-HELPFUL-30-Something-Heavy-Metal-Store-CLERK *GAVE* Me a **FREE**
"EPISODE-1" Promotional DVD!! Oooo, SWEET!!!

I got an additional GREEN One for Me. While THIS One will be going to CADET-JUNIOR and the PINK One to LITTLE-PRINCESS-BIG-RED.

From There, I was off to the BULK BARN - LAST DAY on My

But, You have to Spend $10.-Worth... I had $8.-and-Change... SWEET-Really-Young-CASHIER-LAD gave Me the Discount ANYWAY!!

Apparently, PRINCESS PRE-TEEN is into Collecting "OWLS"? And, This One was "Shiny" and ON SALE!

SISTER is into "SEAHORSES"... Me, too. - [There's a shock, huh?] - Just, on the Lesser-side... I'm more into the OVERALL "FISH" Collecting. Hence, the YELLOW One is for Me, and I got TWO of the SEAHORSES! -- As Glass-Blown Animals go, They are well-done for Their Price-Range.

Meanwhile, I saw some *interesting* Pillows - The BRAIN started making some *creative* "Popcorn" over Them... Alas, I was "disappointed" in NOT seeing ANY of those BLUE & WHITE "China" BALLS that They always seem to Have and that I was Hoping to GET!

From There, I was OFF to COSTCO!
Which was Refreshingly on the "Quieter"
side at that Time.

Picked up "the Usual"... And, THIS
"SHERLOCK HOLMES" DVD Set...

I've had My Eye on IT for a while. Seeing as there were only a Few Left,
I took the PLUNGE off of "THE BUDGET" and Grabbed IT!

Made a Brief Stop at OLD NAVY... GOT that "PRICE ADJUSTMENT"!!

Then, popped over to LOBLAW again... Picked up some GLASS BULBS. 90% OFF!!

Finally, got around to FUTURE SHOP!

-- I had noticed "On Line", that THESE DVDs were down to $9.99 for the BOXING DAY
"WEEK" Sale!!? But, had been
"OUT OF STOCK"...
