P. 25 - Another ADVERT, although... I'm drawn to the Heavily-Textured Crochet RUG and PUFF Cushion! Definitely *not* recommended for going under any Coffee Tables, OR walking *on* with HEELS! Then again, does it really matter..? They're in front of an exquisite ROCHE BOBOIS "INDICE" SOFA!!

P. 34 - Gotta Luv WOODWORK!

P. 36 - I've previously mentioned, that I'm "picky" about BOTANICALS... However, the RUG and SETTE are growing on Me. So long as, They *aren't* in the SAME Room together, AND are surrounded by SOLIDS - no *other* Patterns!

P. 38 - That little Greenish Check RUG Pattern is giving Me "IDEAS"...

P. 54 - Great Textured PILLOWS. Love the large DIY Fabric Artwork - BUT - it really *should* be
Placed "higher"... Seriously, People. WHAT *is* the "Point" of HIDING the Artwork BEHIND a Lamp Shade??!! [or a ginormous Vase? -- Floral Arrangement optional..] -- That's what Wallpaper and/or Mirrors are FOR! "ART" *is* to be SEEN, from ALL angles, and without the Visual White Noise.

P. 76-80 - YAY! STEVE & CHRIS!! Love These GUYS! MOTHER and I have "met" Them a few Times - They really are Sweet! And, I'm loving Their *whole* Rooftop Patio...

P. 82-84 - "Large Wooden BOX in The Interior" hmm.. Sounds like a Pitch Title for some TV Series? -- All very intriguing, and great Pool Area BTW...But, perhaps a tad bit isolated in Winter, and a Target for Grass-Forest Fire Season...? -- just saying... Oh, super *use* of the Floral Square CUSHIONS against the SOLID dark Leather Sofa!

P. 96, 98 - I actually like Most of these BENCHES.

P. 110-117 - Before I even read the TEXT, I just sensed the EUROPEAN Aesthetic from these Pages! It may have been the "Lighting" Atmosphere and the abundant use of river-worn Cobblestones... And, Low-Beamed Ceilings... Whatever, it's comfy!

P. 118-125 - Under "MUSKOKA LODGE", This "Cottage" IS the quintessential Definition of the Term! There's a whole LOT of Varnished Knotty Wood going on! Despite that, I do love the decorative antique Heintzman PIANO [P. 122] and several of the wonderful LAMPS throughout.

P. 126-131 - Very Slick! Absolutely AWESOME Million-Dollar VIEW!

P. 132-135 - LOVE these RAW Textures!! They visually Scream "History" and "REAL Life"!

P. 143 - Ignoring the Fact that I *hate* Eggs, the Natural Colours of these QUAIL EGGS are giving Me "Palette" Ideas...

P. 196 - Ooooo!!

Hey! Look at WHAT the WIND Blew Into the House...

TUESDAY - PAPER Recycling and Garbage Pickup Day.

WEATHER - Strong Westerly WIND blowing up the Street.

RESULT - Much to FATHER's overwhelming Displeasure and limited Patience - in general - MOST of The "Paper" Contents of REALTOR-NEIGHBOUR-TWO-DOORS-DOWN's *poorly*-packed BOX is KANSASsed over Everyone's Lawns... Or, more precisely, OUR Lawn, Bushes, Garden, current Marsh, Driveway...

SOLUTION - MOTHER and I went Shopping! And, HOPED that He would *stay* put. IN, the House!


Okay. I'm just going to SAY it. And, if Anyone is "offended"... Well.. TOO BAD!! -- MY BLOOG!

The Roadway-Parking Environs of COSTCO breeds STUPID DRIVERS!!

IS it some subliminal Hypnotic Signal in the Traffic Lights? Or, perhaps some Mind-Altering Aroma from the nearby TIM HORTON'S...?

Because, WHATEVER "IT" is - I'm almost sure - was likely the INdirect cause of the extremely Tragic 5-car PILE-UP - [where a Child DIED! ...remember that SUNDAY SHOPPING WEIRDNESS I had mentioned..?] - that occurred Last Week, and is STILL *AROUND*!!

Maybe, The CAR is INVISIBLE! You know, like WONDER WOMAN's PLANE! That has to be IT. Would *explain* WHY all of these IDIOTS seem to be looking - WHEN They "bother" TO Look - straight THROUGH My Vehicle!

Oh, and DON'T **GET** Me started on Their LACK of even "considering" to **STOP** BEFORE pulling into 4-Lanes of Traffic, let alone AT a STOP SIGN before TURNING LEFT IN **FRONT** of Me!!

I know now, "why" it is that I'm unable to Pick *Winning* LOTTERY NUMBERS... It's because ALL of My inherent SUPERNATURAL POWERS are being Focused on KEEPING Me ALIVE from the Menacing-Mentally-Myopic-Motoring-Masses!!

BTW, I read that there's supposed to be a couple of "Small" ASTEROIDS driving BY The PLANET later Tonight...? -- Just so You KNOW... In case, My little Tirade becomes a Preface to a MOOT Point!

Yesterday, it was getting a tad Late-ish when We left the CRAFT SHOW... Along the Way to THE MALL, We made a Stop at FABRICLAND. Where, We acquired a lovely large Remnant Piece of Fabric to eventually use as Drapes for the Living Room. Some Day...

Anyhoo... after the quickie "peruse", We ended up at the Grocery Store.

"...Oh, yeah, BTW..." MOTHER mentions, "...those SHEEP went On Sale the Other Day..."

So. There's THE BIN - with TWO of Them left... -- I pick up the One on the Right. MOTHER takes the Other. And, *begins* THE DEBATE on "WHY" I should Purchase MR.LEFT, instead of MR.RIGHT!

Yeah, sure, LEFTY's Snout is chubbier and doesn't look as picked-over as MR.RIGHT, but My Guy was the FIRST ONE that I had picked up - and, I have this *RULE* about that Sort of Thing... Not to mention, the Forlorn LOOK He was flashing Me with...

And then, there's the WHOLE Matter as to whether I *really* NEED to buy EITHER of Them!

FINE! -- I put Them down and walked away...



A few Minutes LATER....

We're passing by the OFFICE-SUPPLIES-MAGAZINES-BOOKS Aisle, when SUDDENLY... There. On top of some Boxes of Whatever, with His Face turned Away, is STEVE!!

FIRST Thought in BOTH Our Heads is - LOST SHEEP...

And, of COURSE, just WAITING for Me to "ZEN" BUY Him!!  [hehe! Happy Dance!]

*Crafty* Card Swapping

WOW! *Another* Super-SPRING Saturday!

Yet - strangely - not many People about... Well, at least *not* around Here... Whatever. NOT a Problem! Less TRAFFIC for Me.

So. We headed over to the OTTAWA ARTISANS GUILD Springtime Show at Lester B. Pearson High School... It's just a few Minutes away - sans Red Lights. -- There were a few NEW Faces this Time. And, We ended up staying longer than We had planned on - "Chatting" People up, will DO that.

And, OH, *just* before We turned into the Parking Lot, We BOTH realized that We had FORGOTTEN Our Cameras at HOME!!

**NUTS**!!

Anyway... I'm just going to have to rely on the odd Pic that I've poached from the various ARTISANS and CRAFTERS We spoke with - at least the Ones *with* Websites!

First off, We conversed with SUSAN FRANKLIN of SUE'S STITCHERY - She does some rather Complex-looking Mini-LOOM-type - I think it was Crochet - AFGHANS. AND, absolutely *Cool* RAGGEDY ANN DOLLS!! -- I haven't seen so many of THOSE in AGES!! I *really* WISH that She had a Website to show Them off.

Although, We didn't speak with Her, I did enjoy the ARTWORK of LEAH HICKS - Abstract, but *very* Colourful and Textural.



THIS Canvas, was One of My Favourites. And, was *much* more Striking *in person*!







The - CRISP - Chromatic Hues of ALEX JOHNSTON's Poncho-Shawls was what initially grabbed My attention, and Our subsequent "chat"...

I took a liking to KATE ARNOLD's - of
BOMBSHELL'S CLOSET - use
of Suitcases for Her "FLIGHTS of
FANCY" Feathered Hair Accessories.


She also has the making of an interesting BLOOG going on...






There were also a Couple of "Figure" Sculpture Artists... The First One that We spoke with - I believe it was LYNN of LYNN'S DIVINE CREATIONS... I keep forgetting to actually READ People's NAME TAGS!! Anyway, She had these lovely "Bronzed"-like Sculpted Figurines mounted on Rocks. But, alas, I had no Camera, and She, NO Website!

The Other One, was NANCY LEIGH-SMITH with wonderfully whimsical Fibre-Figures...



And, THIS TEAPOT!





The CRAFT SHOW continues until Tomorrow and supports the OTTAWA FOOD BANK.
