Yet, I don't Regret NOT going to that Certain-Annual-CHURCH-RUMMAGE-SALE that We usually attend. Besides, it always ends up RAINING *when* We do and, Last Year's
"Pickings" weren't all THAT *Special*. - INSTEAD, We high-tailed it on over to MICHAEL'S for one of Their "4-HOUR-20%-OFF-YOUR-ENTIRE-PURCHASE" SALES!!
The BAD NEWS - My FAV PATONS "Classic Wool" is ON-SALE again for $4.99, which means I CAN'T *use* My 40%-OFF-COUPONS - [$4.19] - on IT!
The GOOD NEWS - With that "4-HOUR-SALE", I can get IT down to $3.99!
The EVEN BETTER **GREAT** NEWS - Earlier, I had noticed
in the FLYER - [What, MANAGER-DAVE had made a passing comment about to Me on Thursday, but hadn't yet checked IT out...] - that PATONS had come out with this *BARGAIN* "5-BALL-PACK" for $19.99!?! -- So, with that 20%-DISCOUNT... $3.20-per-BALL!!

- I had MISSED THEM because of the LONG-LINE-OF-PEOPLE-*IN-FRONT*-OF-THEM!!
I immediately took the SHORT-CUT back to the FRONT of the STORE!!
A "BIN"! - **MORE** Colours!! -- And, the Bewildered GAZES of OTHER-CUSTOMERS watching the "CRAZY-LADY" *DIVING* for Packages on the Bottom...
Needless to say, My "WALLET" was *grateful* that the STORE "Carts" are on the SMALL side..!! As, I only had SPACE for ELEVEN BAGS of EIGHT Colours!! -- [I *really* DO need to SELL My HATS!! AND, Learn to KNIT **FASTER**!]
The GOOD NEWS - I don't need to Buy any MORE YARN for a WHILE! - [damn! Did I *actually* just TYPE *THAT*!?!! -- Go ahead FAIRY-T, I deserve a WAND-WHACK for that One!]
The BAD NEWS - "$198.78" LATER...
The SOMETIMES-THE-UNIVERSE-JUST-BITES NEWS - I also *didn't* WIN ONCE on My LOTTERY TICKETS!! - POOH!!
EVENTUALLY... WE. LEFT. THE. STORE...
Although FIRST, We popped into STRUCTUBE for a Few Minutes. AND, got a Couple of Their *FREE*
-REALLY-NICE-Heavy-Duty-RETRACTABLE-METAL-TAPE-MEASURES! -- I've been putting My OLD-ONE to much USE during "The GREAT-SORTING"...
Oooooo! The BOMBAY COMPANY is having a "NO TAXES WEEKEND"! YAY!
BONUS! THEY also have Some *NEW* BLUE & WHITE CERAMIC "CHINA" BALLS!! - The BIG-6-inch-ONES!
I gathered up THREE of THOSE, however, One will be Returning as I ALREADY have IT! - [I assumed as much since I couldn't *Remember* the LAST ONE's "PATTERN"] - Also picked-up a MEDIUM-Size - [BOTTOM] - ONE...
THEY've been Designated as My EARLY "CHRISTMAS" PRESENT from MOTHER!
WHO, meanwhile, was engrossed with Photographing all of the HOLIDAY "ORNAMENTS"...
BOWRING did have quite a few CUTE "DESSERT" ONES! Along with, a sampling of some TASTY "COOKIES", too!
A Handful of more "STOPS" were made, and then, concluding with a FABRIC-FAIRY "Drop-Off" to VERY-SWEET-"ARTISAN"-TEENAGER's - [SEE 13OCT2012 POST] - As before, We ended up
"VISITING" for FAR TOO LONG!!
But, The GOOD NEWS - It was getting Dark out, so I was *able* to SNEAK The YARN "IN"!!
The BAD NEWS - I HAVE to "FIND" *SOME* Place to PUT IT!! -- [crap.. There's *never* an INTER-DIMENSION SPATIAL "RIFT" when You NEED ONE!!]
