I STILL THINK WE *SHOULD* HAVE GOTTEN THE MICROWAVE... you know, JUST IN CASE!?!

okay. So. *What* IS it with the Blind-folded Piñata-Predictions with The-WEATHER-GUYS, huh??

GUSTING High Winds -- Check √
RAIN..? -- I'm not feeling IT...
FREEZING-RAIN..? -- NOPE!
HIGHER Temps -- Check √

Well, on the UPside, the WINDS were WARM! And, the MELT-Evaporation Ratio was GOOD!
-- I'm "Happy"!

Anyway... Seeing as the Weather was still *UNpredictable*, We stayed Closer to Home with Our Saturday-SHOP-edition. -- Actually, a Good-Thing, as the *POWER* was OUT in some of the
"Shopping" Areas where We often Frequent.

Right... EARLY in the Week, We got this "SCRATCH & WIN" Coupon-Thingy with the Newspaper-Store-Flyers from CANADIAN TIRE. - Only "good" for Today.

The ELDERLY-PARENTAL-UNITS *LOVE* These THINGS! -- Actually, MOTHER got a "$20.-OFF" One the Last-Time... Used IT to Buy that $50. so-called, "SQUIRREL-*PROOF*-BIRD-FEEDER"!

oh. yeah. That's been "working"!

Surfing a STRONG TAILWIND, We make it to The STORE... Look for STUFF to GET... *Minimum*-Prize is "$5.-OFF". -- I Comment on the MICROWAVE - [Our EXACT Model] - SALE going on,
"suggesting" that *IF* We should WIN the "$100.-OFF"-Prize, We ought to GET another One as *Back-Up*!?!

We have this "habit" of going THROUGH these Appliances like most People go through Socks!

With a needed Heavy-Duty-BATTERY and a couple of Rolls of WAX-PAPER in tow, We head to The CHECKOUT... Nice-Young-CASHIER-GIRL "Scratches" Our Coupon... oh. LOOK! "$100.-OFF"!!
-- That HAS-TO-BE-SPENT-IN-ONE-PURCHASE-"TODAY"!

Sooo... BACK We GO for *more* STUFF to GET!!

Really. IF We had gotten the MICROWAVE, We *would* have been HOME a LOT *EARLIER*!!
-- But, alas, WHERE would We have PUT the Thing??

OVER an Hour LATER... We *managed* to gather ENOUGH Items to make the "$100."-worth! -- NO Microwave, but, We *did* get a SOON-To-Be-NEEDED-"TOASTER"! And, more BATTERIES... And, Light-Bulbs, Fuses, various "What-Nots"...

I *would* have gotten a *NEW* SHOVEL, however, the One I *Liked* was $35.! -- Granted, IT would have been "FREE", but still, WHERE's the *FUN* in That when IT's NOT "On-Sale", too?!!

Meanwhile, during Our Hunt, We ran into a Fellow-Shopper-LADY, Who as it turns out, ALSO got a "$100."-Coupon!! -- I'm thinking..NOT such a Profitable-Day for The STORE..??

FINALLY, We were OUT!! Then, a Quickie-Peruse-Run-Shop-Through of THE MALL, and HOME!!

And... a Half-Hour of SLUSH-CHOP-MELT-SCOOPING Clear-Up... Who knows? *Perhaps*, The-WEATHER-GUYS will GUESS Correctly, Tonight!??
